Has anyone experience false alerts with the Forward Collision Warning System?

Hasn't happened to me yet at 4000k but it did freak out once when I did a hard acceleration and lane change right behind someone. [:)]

The only thing I've seen is that if your sensors are dirty (ice, snow, dirt, mud, whatever) that you can get a false signal. Try washing your car and see what happens.
