His website explicitly states the aftermarket vents are just aggressively styled, but still non-functional. Honestly, I'd rather have some sort of styled caps than anything suggesting they're vents. Fake vents are the dumbest part of the Stinger, IMO.

Could you tell what they're doing with the fake hood vents? Are they just blacked-out, rather than chromed, or do they make them seem less like vents?

Yes, just like that; lots of them on the market, and easy to install and remove (in case you ever put humans in your backseat). I just don't like the gap between the front and back seats being unsupported, even though a properly adjusted 'taco' will essentially make it so the dog can't step...

Half the reason I like the hatchback is so I don't need to worry about this! Fold the seats down, and let them find a spot to stand or lay down. (Would be better if the seats were fold-flat, but it's still workable even without.) That said, for sedan-mode pet transport, I know there's a ton...

I find it odd that they state there's no special period/process, and then proceed to detail the period/process.

It's still TBD as to whether the US-spec cars will get this feature, or which trim levels. It has not actually appeared in written form on any option lists that I've seen from Kia or dealer sources so far. That said, multiple Kia reps have claimed that it is coming, and there is limited...

I believe those are externally mounted, so probably not representative. Look at the driver's side light cluster where it contacts closest to the license plate; appears to be a box-like structure.

Does it mention what the break-in process is, including mileage?

I have KDM demo car fatigue, especially after learning about potential de-contenting (likely to keep prices in check). Are these actual US-spec cars, or should I just skip the clicks since nothing new?

Or just get rid of the non-functional ones (hood and rear wheels). I will be monitoring the aftermarket space for possible swapouts for the chrome bits, and maybe even simple painted caps for the hood.
