How does your Stinger handle in the snow?

All four. You want to be able to steer with the front tires and not just the rears.

    Bring chains/cables.

Would you ever consider purchasing a Chinese made car?

Not today. In a decade, who knows.

Anyone consider using run flats to save weight?

Whoa whoa whoa, back up a bit. In case you didn't know, a run-flat tire weighs substantially more than a regular tire. The weight of a spare tire assembly is, at least, a static and sprung weight. Four run-flat tires will introduce a very substantial increase in rotational moment of inertia and...

    Hi from Perth Australia

Welcome to the forum! Does Australian GT have the twinturbo petrol V6 engine? Is the turbo diesel version marketed there?

Kia COO confirms no plans for sports coupe to compete with the Toyota Supra

Too bad, I'd like to see the twinturbo V6 engine and the 8sp transmission in a much lighter package (at least half a ton lighter, literally) with only 2 seats, RWD, and a chassis and suspension design ala Corvette (no McPoverty struts please). Even better, couple the engine to a 6-7sp manual...

What psi for snow tires ?

I would start with the recommended pressures then go from there. As a rule of thumb, I bump them about 5-10 psi to increase sidewall stiffness and to compensate for temperature fluctuation.

How about a radar detector hardwired DIY install?

E-shifter is different from the Electric Parking Brake.

How about a radar detector hardwired DIY install?

Does the E-shifter slot have switched power? Mine doesn't have the E shifter, I assume the slot is empty. My harness has a different configuration, it has an inline fuse which needs an "open" slot.

    What torque wrench to choose?

One with a 150 ft-lb rating would suffice and because it's only for lug nuts, there is no need to pay extra for very high accuracy.

    What torque wrench to choose?

I use a Sears brand that has a max torque rating of 150 ft-lbs and it has a 1/2" drive. It clicks when reaching a set limit. I also have a smaller one with a 3/8" drive and it has a more accurate in-lb increment. What is your intended usage of this torque wrench?

Who's getting mud guards on their Kia Stinger?

I paid USD 65 + 7.5% sales tax at a local dealer for the set. I guess it helped since I got wholesale pricing. Installation is very easy. A short/stubby Phillips screw driver and a flat screw driver or a trim removal tool are all that are needed. Replace all fasteners with the ones supplied in...

    Visibility Question

Outward visibility is not an issue in my case. The rear-view camera helps a lot when reversing and attempting to get as close as possible to an object. Blind spot problem is alleviated with the convex mirror. I'm not one to rely on the blind spot monitoring; my Stinger GT is equipped with such...

    Transmission tail shaft leaks.

Yikes! I find it absurd that the output shaft had no oil seal that can be replaced.
